about
The Lockdown lyrics came about when Ray Goodwin visited Pasko in Bondi. Ray lived in Bondi during the '70s when his band Dragon came over from NZ. Back then it was a rock town with gigs, venues and great bands. During the jam at Pasko's unit that overlooks the town and beach, Ray commented on how dead it was after the last lockdown.
The song is very much flavoured with those '70s rock vibes as it reminisces the Bondi heyday and laments what's left of the Aussie music scene.
